MANDURAH WORLD CUP STOP - OFFICIAL PROGRAMME RELEASED

It has been a fascinating adventure for all involved. This global Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup series has taken the event through Europe, North Africa, Middle East, China, South East Asia and Australia. Included were Stops in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids and the Great Wall. On March 16/18, Western Australia's "Top Tourism Town" of Mandurah will now be added to this very special experience for the fans, athletes and sponsors. Sunshine and glorious 30C weather is forecasted.


This 33rd World Cup Stop is a vital part of the successful EYRES Action Sports Games. At this point, Skiers and Riders from the following countries have made the cut: Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Russia, Republic of South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand and USA. It is one of the strongest fields ever and is loaded with World Record breakers, World Champions and World Cup Champions. As for all previous World Cup Stops, MasterCraft will provide the competition boats and back-up service for both the Skiers and Riders.

Apart from what promises to be a very exciting World Cup Stop, these EYRES Action Sports Games will also include BMX and FMX, athlete Poster signings, Art Competitions, some great Music and much more. The famous Channel Seven Mandurah Crab Fest, now in its 14th year, will also play its part in attracting an estimated 100,000 spectators to the site.


The World Cup Finals are all scheduled for Sunday, March 18th. The Skiers will be first off with Shortboard for Women and Men at 10.05hrs, followed by Jump at 11.20hrs and then Wakeboard at 13.05hrs.The Awards Presentation will take place at 16.30hrs. With TV cameras on shore and in the Helicopter above, these World Cup images from Mandurah 2012 are likely to remain with us for many years to come.
