MasterCraft Boat Company has summer internship openings for Process / Industrial Engineer candidates. Interns will be responsible for studying labor inputs and refining the Bill of Labor requirements for MasterCraft’s product portfolio.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Complete time studies targeting the installation of individual componentry or sub-assemblies in each MasterCraft model
• Create a repository and naming/access convention for the studied parts and/or sub-assemblies
• Train MasterCraft employees on the methodology employed during the labor inputs study
• Create a detailed work instruction incorporating lessons learned from the exercise [for use in future labor input studies]
Qualifications:
• Must be able to work Safely and must observe all applicable Safety protocols in the factory
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and attention to the smallest details
• Must be able to interact with shop floor employees and become a part of the team
• Public speaking skills and the ability to explain to others what you are attempting to accomplish is paramount
• Excellent attendance
• Boating experience is preferred
